Aitysh France Association – is the French non-profit company, the European branch of Aitysh Alliance (Aitysh Public Fund Kyrgyzstan and Aitysh USA).
The principal activity of the Association is:
- Organising and promoting cultural activities in the fields of events, theatre and performance, film and audiovisual, books and literature, cultural heritage and film production, giving artists the opportunity to express their creativity, imagination and vision in a variety of forms;
- Organising festivals, other cultural festivities, exhibitions; organising masters, courses, workshops, etc., other activities that facilitate public access to artistic and cultural works, that forge links between cultural and economic life, that encourage actions aimed at the knowledge and preservation of the heritage of humanity.
President
Founder and director of an event travel agency for the past 5 years, Infira has extensive experience in organising cultural, cinematographic and artistic events. Her expertise in this field enables her to create unique and refined experiences for her clients and partners. She pays particular attention to planning and coordinating every detail to ensure the success of every event.
Treasurer
Former team leader in the French Foreign Legion, now a professional coach and founder of Nomad Coach. His mission is to help individuals and corporate teams to perform and accomplish their projects in an environmentally-friendly way. He has worked with companies such as Arianespace, EDF, Maison Hermès and Brunello Cuccineli.
Executive director
Festivals programmer, artistic director, NETPAC member, film producer; has MA degree in filmmaking. Was the head of programming at Eurasia International Film Festival for 9 years and has run several international film festivals in Kazakhstan and abroad including Dialogue of cultures IFF in New York. Since 2011 is the Artistic director of Bastau International film festival. In 2017 has founded a film company “A Team” that supports the young filmmakers and produces short films, full length feature films and documentaries. The films were in the official selection of many big film festivals including A list film festivals and got several awards. Was a program consultant of Cairo international film festivals. Since 2021 is a senior lector of Turan Film Academy. Jury member of many international film festivals.
Secretary
With a background in languages and professional experience in intercultural communication, she now works in the finance department of the VICBAG group.
AITYSH Public Fund is a charitable organization, which aims to promote and develop culture throughout Kyrgyzstan. Founded by a public figure, producer and director Sadyk Sher-Niyaz in 2001 the structure of the Fund consists of the Union of Improvised Singing ‘Aitysh’, Film Production Company ‘Aitysh Film’, International Film Festival "Kyrgyzstan - Land of Short Films", Manas Cinema network and Literary Organization ‘Kalemger’. “Kyrgyzstan Land of short films” is an annual International Film Festival for shorts from the CIS countries, the Baltic States and Georgia and has been held in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan since 2011.
The film production company ‘Aitysh Film’ was founded in 2006 in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan as a branch of Aitysh Public Fund. In the company portfolio there are around 100 films (fiction, docs, animation, shorts) produced by the studio and in the collaboration with other companies and film institutions with more than 300 international festival awards. Among them there are such films as “KURMANJAN DATKA” - a 2014 Kyrgyz epic drama selected as the Kyrgyz entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 87th Academy Awards; “SULEIMAN MOUNTAIN” by Elizaveta Stishova; “SHAMBALA” by Artykpai Suyundukov and many others that were very successful at the international film festivals.
AITYSH USA is charitable organization founded by Sadyk Sher-Niyaz for the purposes of bringing creative film and art programs that will inspire, empower and connect community members and individual artists.
AITYSH USA is proud of its project the ASIAN WORLD FILM FESTIVAL, that is being organized annually in Los Angeles for the 9 th times and that showcases the best of a broad selection of Asian World cinema in order to draw greater recognition to the region's wealth of filmmakers—strengthening ties between the Asian and Hollywood film industries. Uniting through cross-cultural collaboration, the festival partners with GOLDEN GLOBES and champions films from over 50 countries across Asia. This festival is unique in that it predominantly screens Oscar and Golden Globe-submitted films from Asia for Best Foreign Language Film.
